An amazing day arrests the interior tears

Floating among her heart’s chambers:  

Impoverished. Wandering. Thirsty to embrace

A new way of feeling the world.

She’s (ALONE)

The bus—benevolent in the bodies it seats–

Offers her a seat–

Her mind sketches the day in memory :

12 hours with beautiful people-

Soulful angels who invite her into a theatrical

Sanctuary of kindness on the bus—

An amazing day bequeathed to her from

The God who knows what the heart has seem.

Her walk towards the back of the bus is answered prayer-

A new way of living through the world begins.
